Welcome to Perspectives the podcast where documentary filmmakers share the stories behind the stories. This is episode 1, where your host (Adam D'Addario) shares a story about his time filming with the Lethbridge Overdose Prevention Society (LOPS) in Alberta.

I sit down with an old high school friend, Mitchell Smalley a farmer from Uxbridge Ontario, and we discuss the conditions and stigma around migrant workers in rural Ontario.

BC has scaled its harm reduction measures up while Alberta continues to scale them back. In this episode, I talk to Ophelia Black, a 22-year-old woman from Calgary who has taken a prescription for Dilaudid, an oral hydromorphone that she has taken three times a day for the past two years. I also talked to Nicole Luong from the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition.
